He has painted over 500 murals that infuse urban landscapes with vibrant hues and positivity, channeling the power of nature into the signature geometric style of his designs. Pat is passionate about the power of art to improve mental health and wellbeing and focuses on designs that encourage connectivity between community members, their environment and their inner selves.
What is Art for you?
Art is the voice of your soul. It is the imagination being exercised. It's a way that we connect through non-verbal and indirect communication and it's one of the most important exercises we can do as humans to exercise our creativity and allow our spirit and imagination to be free.
What is chocolate to you?
Chocolate is like art because it is meant to be shared. It is expansive and delicious – a celebration of flavor in your mouth.
What inspires you? What inspired these particular pieces?
I'm inspired by nature and being surrounded by beautiful, loving energy. Feeling like you're living a purposeful, intentional existence inspires everything. That inspires alignment, that inspires connection. Feeling aligned on purpose and passionate about life is the only way your heart is meant to be living.
I also hope to inspire creativity in others. There is an insert on the inside of the packaging that provides an opportunity for us to collaborate as creators. We'd love to see how people collaborate with us on that bar and add their own touch and vision to the pieces.
Art work names + descriptions
Open Hearts Peak: This work is all about the power of the mountains and what the mountains can do to open up your heart. It's that bar you want to go out and journey with, and I encourage you to really get out there, explore with it and share it with the people on your journey.
Open Hearts Butterfly: This work is a little more interpretive of how nature and our surroundings play a role in our mental health. The butterfly is symbolic of openness and personal evolution, and it helps us visualize how we can grow when we are open to the world around us.
Open Hearts Queen: This work is an empowerment piece that focuses on the symbol of the queen. This graphic represents the queen of the universe, and my intention with it is to encourage women and girls to realize they don't need a crown to feel like a queen. Their connection to nature and the universe is all they need, and that's the most beautiful connection they can ever have to feel grounded and connected with the universe.
